USAF Weapons School successfully completes first UAS, Raptor validation courses

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- The U.S. Air Force Weapons School graduated 96 officers, including members of the Air Force's first unmanned aircraft systems and F-22 Raptor validation courses, during a ceremony at the Flamingo Hotel June 13.

AF restructures fighters to create compact, lethal force LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- The Secretary of the Air Force announced Combat Air Force's restructuring plan for fiscal year 2010. The plan proposes to retire legacy fighters in order to fund a more compact and lethal force and redistribute personnel to priority missions.

Raptors deployed to Kadena Air Base, Japan LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- Approximately 280 Langley Airmen and 12 F-22 Raptors from the 94th Fighter Squadron depart this week for their Air Expeditionary Force deployment.
