Video description:
The design of the INDELA's RS-15 parachute system for remotely controlled aircraft (RC) is based on the groundwork and developments, that have been created for this parachute class.
This technical description and operation instructions are intended for a study of the RS-15 parachute system and its operation directions.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
1.Purpose.
The RS-15 parachute system is designed for emergency landing of RCA with a landing mass of up to 25 kg.
2.Technical parameters.
With a RCA landing gear of 25 kg, the structure of the RS-15 system provides the following tactical and technical parameters:
1)RCA vertical descent speed not higher than 5 m/sec above sea level at the following characteristics under the IAU conditions:
-Maximal parachute introduction speed is 60 m/sec;
-Minimal parachute introduction speed is 15m/sec;
-Minimal parachute introduction height above the landing site is 100 m;
-Maximal (barometric) parachute system application speed is 3,500 m; landing site barometric height above sea level is up to 2,000 m;
2)RCA load during parachute system introduction is not higher than 400 kgf;
3)Landing swing angle amplitude is not more than 30°;
4) Operability at a temperature of minus 40° C up to plus 60°;
5)The designated resource - 20 applications within its technical characteristics set out in this section; further application, according to the technical conditions.
