IN THIS VIDEO, watch as many aircraft depart from NAS Oceana just prior to the arrival of the Blue Angels. I have no idea why there were so many C-17s at Oceana that morning, but I can tell you that one C-17 was from Charleston AFB, another from Dover AFB, and another C-17 was from McGuire AFB. I don't know where the fourth aircraft came from.
