Strykers can't do any of THIS!

Video description:
When the US Army selected the Stryker family of Armored Cars as the winner of the (IAV Interim Armored Vehicle) competition, they unwittingly sold-out a wide range of pre-existing capabilities, already found in 16000 vehicles that the US military already possessed.

Capabilities lost in the transition from the original vehicle to the Stryker include, but are not limited to;

- Amphibious capability

- C-130 transportability to 1000 miles

- Ability to roll-off a C-130, ready to fight

- Ability to traverse all terrain

- Ability to traverse soft ground, in particular

- Ability to traverse vegetation

- Ability to be refitted with heavy weaponry

- Ability to airdrop

These 16000 vehicles were M113 Gavin Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs), vehicles designed FROM THE GROUND UP to meet a wide range of demanding requirements, some of which were later re-issued as the the basis of the IAV project.
M113 Gavins can fly 1000 miles in a C-130 Hercules, and then either airdrop or roll off the ramp COMBAT-READY. They are fully amphibious and, due to their low weight and continuous tracks, have extremely low ground pressure, while at the same time possessing immense traction ans mechanical advantage.

The M113 Gavin is also highly adaptive, with over 40000lbs of free payload to support numerous modifications, add-ons, and refits --- simply put, they are the most versatile, adaptable, and cost-effective fighting vehicle ever fielded.

That said, is it any wonder that more than 80000 M113s were built, and serve the armed forces of over 50 countries? There are over 200 distinct variants of them, as well.

Yet, all of this is lost upon the Army leadership of today --- all THEY think about is the job they'll get (with a 7-digit annual income) from the Stryker's manufacturer, after they retire from the Army.

Because of a small number of greedy traitors --- and a the silent approval of a vast number of enablers and gutless cowards under their command --- the US Army has begun regressing from Mechanized forces back into Motorized forces.
If this process is allowed to continue, the US Army will end up being the largest "Boutique Army" in the world, whist the militaries of threat countries world continue to Mechanize themselves (whom already possess unprecedented numbers of such forces).
