This latest video from Sanswire-TAO shows rapid launch and recovery tests with a subscale prototype of the company's STS-111 multi-segmented unmanned airship. The tests, in April 2009, were designed to show the ease of deployment and low-speed manoeuvrability of the non--rigid "airchain" design. The STS-111 will be a medium-altitude surveillance airship.
