F-16 Fighting Falcon aka Viper - 1500 MPH Fighter

The F-16 Fighter Interceptor, frequently called the Fighting Falcon aka Viper, joined the Air Force on August 17th, 1978. F-16 Fighters were scrambled over Washington DC on September 11th, 2001 and one F-16 has been sent to the 911 Display at McCord AFB in Tacoma, Washington.
