Air Force A-10 destroys weapons cache in Iraq

On 12 July 2007, an A-10 A+ Thunderbolt II assigned to the 190 EFS destroys a building containing a weapons cache using a GBU-12 while participating in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Earlier, an Army AH-64 Apache Helicopter damaged the building with Hellfire Missiles. The A-10 ensured it was completely destroyed. The action destroyed the weapons cache, destroying weapons and preventing them from being used on coalition forces and civilians.
