Little Green Man - 3D animated short film

My first CGI film, and first experience of CGI in general, so please excuse the awkward animation, and visuals. The story follows Jeff, a small disproportional alien whose job is to control the weather on earth, but unfortunately struggles to find it entertaining enough to stay awake, leading to a very messy situation... The film was for a final major project at university, I had 4 months to come up with the idea and how it would look, and 4 months to make it. I tried to stick to a simple idea that could still be entertaining, and which wouldn't be too hard to make. Unfortunately it got to the point where I needed to learn how to use 3D software or draw it, so I set about learning Maya at the end of January. The basic knowledge came from a book, whilst the rest I discovered for myself. Made in Autodesk Maya 2008, composited in Adobe After Effects CS3 and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3.
