KC-135 Stratotanker

The first film covers the manufacturing and shop operations on the KC-135; the static test program; the KC-135 roll-out, first flight, and initial refueling contacts; and the Boeing school for training Air Force personnel in flight operation and on systems of the KC-135 The second film, produced by the Air Force during the Vietnam War, is titled "Indispensables." This film documents the role of the Stratotanker and its crew. Told from the point of view of the boom operater, the video includes air-to-air refueling of an F-4C and a B-52. Also shows the more mundane side of the job, such as ground alert duty. Video concludes with testimony from fighter pilots who say that KC-135 crews saved their lives. The third film takes place at Wurtsmith AFB, Lake Huron, Michigan and looks at the 920th personnel in a KC-135 refueling a B-52 bomber.
