This is a development video I produced as I was coding the Mig-29 OVT for DCX. The Mig-29 OVT is a Mig-29 with 3D thrust vectoring nozzles on both engines. It can do amazing aerobatics, as shown. Once you dogfight with a MIG-29 OVT in DCX, you'll quickly understand why 3D thrust vectoring is such a big deal in real world aeronautics. It gives you incredible levels of maneouverability. and despite being a bit twitchy to fly, the better dogfighting ability really is worth it. Also note the short take-off and landings 3D vectoring can give you. STVOL (Short Take Off and Vertical Landing), like that used in the AV-8 Harrier, is a form of thrust vectoring.
