Long Beach Grand Prix April 19 2008 C-17 Flyby

At the end of the national anthem they usually fly some cool military plane over head. This year they brought out a C-17 that was made here in Long Beach. I've been in it while it was on the ground and sometimes will catch one in the air as they fly them out of the factory. But never had one fly so close over my head. I wish I had a video camera that would have picked up the sound of all the race fans cheering and going nuts as it flew over. These pics were taken with my Nikon D50 at at 1fps. A few seconds later is surpised us as it flew back over heads in the opposite direction.
