C-5 Galaxy Demonstration 2002 Dover AFB Open House & Airshow Dover AFB, Delaware Sunday May 26, 2002 IN THIS VIDEO, watch as this Dover-based C-5 takes off, performs a dirty pass, and a short-field landing (well a short-field landing for an aircraft the size of the C-5) and demonstrates how effective the aircraft is to scramble and load an M1A1 Abrams tank into the aircraft and then depart. I believe they were heading to the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland to recover the tank.
