The V-22 Osprey is a vertical take-off and landing military aircraft. It's brand new and recently went to war for the first time in Iraq September 2007. It's very "Stealthy", meaning it's footprint on a radar scope is like a little bird. A US Marine General mentioned that just on a med-evac mission, the V-22 will get to wounded soldiers in 20 minutes compared to helicopters taking an hour! Think of the Army Rangers and the other Special Forces that will increase their mission capability from an airplane that can land or hover ANYWHERE! If you'd like an iPod download version of this cool video in MPEG4 (.m4v) format, please go to http://iPodSid.com Thanks for taking a look. I did my military time and I'm really proud of the V-22 Osprey. P.S. Don't listen to the nay sayers, one of the previous accidents a few years ago was a "hot dog" Marine pilot and the other has been totally rectified. I work at Bell Helicopter, so I know; they don't. :-)
