But Air Force officials are cautiously floating the idea of selling Marietta-built F-22A Raptor fighters to foreign allies, a move that would keep production lines at the Cobb County plant open longer than now planned.Top Air Force officers have discussed such proposals at conferences, according to the Air Force Times newspaper, which characterized the idea as "gaining strength" among service leaders.
