U-2 exceeds 25,000th hour of flight

U-2 exceeds 25,000th hour of flight SOUTHWEST ASIA -- U-2 aircraft No. 068-0337 was accepted by Air Force officials in 1968, and exceeded the 25,000th hour of flight Oct. 18, 2009, in a mission out of Southwest Asia.

U-2 Pilot Joins Elite - Reaches 2000 Flying Hours SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Maj. Thomas Ryan of the 99th Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron here has just reached 2,000 flying hours, a rare milestone in the career of a U-2 Dragon Lady pilot.
