N. Korea: U.S. conducted 210 November spy flights
SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea accused the United States on Thursday of conducting about 210 spy flights against the communist country last month, saying Washington was preparing to crush the communist government.

Citing an unidentified military source, the North’s official Korean Central News Agency said American aircraft, including U-2 spy planes, RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft and EP-3 electronic surveillance planes had spied on “strategic objects” in the North.

“Aerial espionage ... clearly indicates that the U.S. imperialists are further staging a military maneuver to stifle our republic behind the curtain of talks,” KCNA said in a Korean-language report.

FLASHBACK:
- 180 flights in October
- 170 in August
