SpaceX’s first launch on hold

An upstart rocket company waited for the weather to clear for its first-ever satellite launch on Saturday — a liftoff that would serve as a coming-out party for a new entrant in the commercial space race.

The maiden launch for Space Exploration Technologies Corp., or SpaceX, was to take place at an equatorial launch site on an island in the Pacific Ocean's Kwajalein Atoll.continue..
