Lockheed, Raytheon end feud
Lockheed Martin Corp. and Raytheon Co. settled a legal spat over the use of secret information linked to an Air Force contract the companies won two years ago.

Terms of the out-of-court settlement were kept confidential. Lockheed Martin's Jefferson County operations are involved in the spy-related project, which carries a potential price tag of $500 million.

The contract involves the upgrade of a ground-station system used to process intelligence photos snapped by such aircraft as the U-2, Predator and Global Hawk.

Raytheon is the prime contractor for the project, known as the Distributed Common Ground System.
