ISS Oxygen Regenerator Down

New problems have emerged with the oxygen regeneration device on the International Space Station, the Russian mission control said on Tuesday. The Interfax news agency quoted a source in the mission control as saying that the Electron oxygen regeneration system has shut down again. The source added, however, that there was no threat to the lives of the two crewmembers who are currently working at the station. “The system has been working unstably and recently it has switched on and off occasionally. Thus we cannot say that it was a surprise,” the source said.continue..
