The Pentagon’s acquisition chief on Nov. 10 blessed the U.S. Air Force’s F/A-22 program to continue low-rate production and set the stage for its transition to full-rate production.
Michael Wynne, acting undersecretary of defense for acquisition, technology and logistics, signed a memorandum codifying decisions made during a high-level review by the Defense Acquisition Board of the Air Force's top-priority fighter program, a Pentagon spokeswoman said.
