Live Coverage of X-Prize Flight Attempt
Competition for the $10 million purse is at the wire, with a U.S. team going head-to-head with a Canadian group starting Wednesday. To win, a privately built three-person spaceship must soar to 62 miles (100 kilometers) twice within two weeks.

In partnership with the X Prize Foundation, SPACE.com will feature live streaming video from the cockpit as SpaceShipOne soars to the edge of space and back. Live Webcast begins Wednesday at 9 am ET.
