Lockheed Awarded $10M for FALCON Hypersonic Technology Vehicle

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Palmdale, Calif., is being awarded a $10,164,788 modification to a previously awarded other transaction for prototypes agreement to exercise an option for the Falcon Combined Cycle Engine Technology portion of the
Falcon Hypersonic Technology Vehicle effort.
Work will be performed in Palmdale, Calif. (20 percent); Philadelphia, Pa. (73 percent); Fort Worth, Texas (7 percent), and is expected to be completed in September 2008. Funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
The contracting activity is the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Arlington, Va. (HR0011-04-9-0010, P00027).
