Two Eurofighter Typhoon jets touched down in Singapore today after completing a 6,740 mile, six-day odyssey from Britain in a bid to secure a multi-million pound order from the Southeast Asian city-state.
The two Royal Air Force aircraft are competing against the Rafale, built by France’s Dassault Aviation, and the Boeing F-15T to replace Singapore’s ageing fleet of 30 US-built A-4SU Skyhawk ground attack jets.
