Flight control system malfunction caused F/A-22 Raptor crash A loss of electrical power and vague instructions helped lead to the crash of an F/A-22 Raptor as it was taking off from Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., on Dec. 20, according to an Air Combat Command investigation released June 8.
