An F/A-18C Hornet launches from USS Abraham Lincoln

An F/A-18C Hornet, assigned to "Vigilantes" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 151, launches from Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 2 are underway off the coast of Southern California participating in Composite Training Unit Exercise, an exercise aimed at enhancing the interoperability between ships in the strike group.
