Center fuselage for the first F-35 Lightning II static test aircraft

Northrop Grumman Corporation delivered the center fuselage for the first F-35 Lightning II static test aircraft on May 7, more than two and one-half months ahead of schedule. The fuselage will integrate into a non-flying, short take-off, vertical landing (STOVL) F-35 variant designated BG-1.
