KC-45 Tanker In-flight Contact With AWACS Aircraft
The advanced Aerial Refueling Boom System (ARBS) for Northrop Grumman Corporation's KC-45 Tanker performed multiple aerial contacts with an operational Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft in a July 18 test, confirming its ability to support large aircraft in U.S., NATO, and allied air forces.
